Meet the Staff



Laura, Patient and Insurance Coordinator

Laura joined our team in 2013 with experience as a veterinary technician. Needless to say, her patience and attention to detail while working with animals in her past greatly shows in the way she cares for people and has their best interest in mind. 

"Ever since exploring this new experience in the dental field, I've learned so much. It stimulates and motivates every day. I've always enjoyed helping and caring whether they are animals or people. I also love the rewarding feeling I get when I witness people's satisfaction from helping them understand and feel encouraged about their health," she says.

A loving wife and mother to a toddler, Laura likes to run outdoors when she has free time.  She also has two adorable cats who keep her son busy.


Jeanette, Dental Assistant, RDA

Jeanette became a part of the Westway Park Dental team in 2010.  She joined us upon graduating from dental assisting college and becoming a registered dental assistant in Texas. 

With experience in customer service, she is knowledgable in making patients feel comfortable at Westway Park Dental.  She formed a love for the dental field as early on as in grade school, stating, "My mother was a dental assistant, and she always stressed how important caring for your teeth are.  Following in her footsteps, I can further help people realize how important dental care is in overall health."

She enjoys spending time with her dogs, reading, and working out in her time off

Nelsy, Dental Hygienist, RDH

Nelsy joined the Westway Park Dental team in 2010 with several years of experience as a registered dental hygienist already accomplished.   She prides herself in being compassionate about her job and taking every part of it a step further through teamwork and making patients feel at ease and aware of their dental health.  She stays up-to-date in the field of dental hygiene through continuing education courses throughout the year.  

In addition to having chair side manner that makes patients feel comfortable, she strives to inform patients about preventative dental care and to ensure they feel confident regarding dental issues per individual basis.  Her gentle, patient demeanor will ease any nervousness you might have about coming to a dental office.

Nelsy loves spending time with her family and volunteering.  She also enjoys cooking and makes delicious lasagna.


 Kim, Patient Coordinator

Born in Dallas and raised in Houston, Kim believes oral and general health is of utmost importance.  She has over four years experience in the health field, including cancer research and biopharmaceutical development.  

Fluent in Vietnamese, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Houston.  

When asked what she enjoys most about her job, she responds, "Helping patients realize that oral care is vital in infection control; therefore, it is ultimately vital to your health."

When Kim has free time, she enjoys crafting, jogging, and spending time with her family.

 Crystal, Treatment and Financial Coordinator

Crystal has been with Westway Park Dental since 2008. Fluent in Spanish and certified in human resources and educated in dental assisting, she is taking classes to pursue a career in dental hygiene in the future, proving that her love for dentistry and her patients runs deep. 

She has sought a career in the dentistry because "I feel that oral upkeep is important in preventing infection of not only the teeth and mouth but also of the rest of the body.  Caring for patients through the dental field reflects this belief."  

In her time off, Crystal enjoys photograhy and spending quality time with her family.



Chelsea, Registered Dental Hygienist


Chelsea has been with Westway Park Dental since graduating from dental assisting program in 2007. She took a hiatus from Westway Park Dental to pursue Dental Hygiene and has since graduated. She prides herself in being compassionate about her job and taking every part of it a step further through teamwork.  She enjoys making patients feel at ease and aware of their dental health. She also expands and stays up to date by taking continuing education courses.

In her time off, Chelsea enjoys cooking and having quality time with her daughter.
